Turkey

Perry's first adventures to Turkey came in 1987 when he backpacked across Europe to Africa.  He returned in 1993 to raft the class V Coruh River in the remote eastern Kackar Mountains as rafting manager for Sobek Expeditions.  In 1995 he came back with his mom to cruise the Turquoise Coast and as fell in love with his beautiful guide, Jale.  Perry and Jale started Blue Odyssey in 1997 and began living in Kalkan, Turkey for 6 months every year guiding and operating trips including their pioneering sea kayak adventures.
